Nazeing School Council members are elected by their peers. Our school council meets each month to discuss issues raised in the class suggestion boxes, provide feedback on school activities and plan future school events. Each class from Year 2 upwards is represented on the council by two elected members. This year's representatives are below. The group completed a School Council Self Evaluation on all the positive things that take place at Nazeing; they were instrumental in deciding the Wear a Hat to School Day charity event to raise money for Brain Tumour research; a meeting was organised with the school catering team to discuss sustainability; recycling boxes are to be placed in all classrooms; their main project is to develop the courtyard area into a quiet/ sensory space for all children to use. We look forward to this project's completion.
