About Us

Nazeing Primary School is a community school for children aged 4 to 11 years and is maintained by Essex County Council.  Pupils come to the school from the local village community as well as from the neighbouring towns of Harlow and Waltham Abbey.

Nazeing Primary School has achieved the awards of Enhanced National Healthy Schools, Sports Activemark, Artsmark, School Games Silver Award and the Financial Management in Schools Award.  The school enjoys partnership links with Forest Independent Collegiate, Harlow Education Consortium, Harlow Sports Partnership and Nazeing Common Cricket Club.

The school is governed by the Nazeing School Governing Body which consists of 12 members, one Local Authority governor, four parent governors, one staff governor, five co-opted governors and the Headteacher.
